2. Parents grieved / suffered because of their children :-
Noah and Ham (Genesis 9:20–25) – Ham exposed his father’s nakedness; the curse fell on Ham’s son, Canaan, but Noah’s shame shows the pain parents endure due to children’s disrespect.
Absalom and David (2 Samuel 15–18) – Absalom rebelled against his father David, causing David shame, suffering, and temporary loss of his throne. Though David wasn’t punished by authorities, his life was deeply affected.
