When you walk Through the valley – God will Make a way / Bible message in English / Latest bible message Topics

In the blessed name of our good Lord Jesus Christ — may His grace and peace multiply among you!

The children of Israel went through many valleys in their lives. A valley often represents an experience of fear, a shadow of death, and a time of deep darkness. King David said, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”As Christians, we too sometimes have to pass through such valleys in our lives. Today, let us meditate on three valleys that the people of Israel experienced.

The Egyptians, with Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and soldiers, pursued the Israelites and caught up with them as they camped near Pi-Hahiroth, opposite Baal-Zephon, by the sea (Exodus 14:9).The Israelites had just come out of Egypt, but now they were trapped — the Red Sea before them and Pharaoh’s army behind them. They couldn’t go forward or backward. It was an impossible situation! At that moment, they cried out to the Lord — and He worked a mighty miracle. God divided the sea before them and drowned their enemies behind them.Beloved, maybe you too are in a situation where you can neither move forward nor backward — surrounded by problems, financial pressures, or family struggles. What should you do? Seek the Lord more earnestly.Look to His face, for He who parted the sea and destroyed the army is still mighty to do wonders today. Trust that our Lord is powerful to act in every situation. David said, “The Lord delivered me from all my troubles.”If we fight in our own strength, we will fail — but if we trust and depend on the Lord, He will surely perform great miracles in our lives.

Let us read Joshua 7:24–26. Because of Achan’s sin, the Israelites faced defeat. Joshua and all Israel took Achan, his family, and all that he had to the Valley of Achor, where they stoned and burned them. That place was called “The Valley of Achor” — meaning trouble — because Achan had brought trouble upon Israel. This valley represents a place of defeat, sorrow, and regret — a time when Israel’s victory was stopped because of hidden sin. One man’s disobedience brought pain to the whole nation.Beloved, sometimes in our lives we also experience confusion, failure, or tears — situations where we don’t understand why things go wrong even when we think we’re doing everything right. It may even be due to the mistakes or sins of someone in our family or generation. But we don’t have to lose heart. If you are in your own “Valley of Achor,” remember — the Cross of Calvary is our refuge. When we turn to Jesus, He helps us overcome every bitter experience and brings peace and restoration.

1 Samuel 17:2, we read that Saul and the Israelites camped in the Valley of Elah to fight the Philistines. The enemy came with a new strategy — to send one giant, Goliath, to challenge Israel. No one from Israel dared to face him, until David, a young shepherd, came forward in faith and defeated the giant. The Valley of Elah, which once represented fear and trembling, became the valley of victory.Beloved, maybe you are also facing a “giant” — one particular problem or burden that has long oppressed and frightened you. Perhaps it’s something secret that no one else knows, but it stands like a giant before you, blocking your progress. The Lord who gave David strength will also give you power to overcome your valley. He will turn your fear into victory.

Dearly beloved, no matter what kind of valley you are passing through — whether it is Pi-Hahiroth (trapped with no way out), Achor (defeat and sorrow), or Elah (fear and struggle) — remember this:The Lord who walked with Israel walks with you.Trust in Him, call upon Him, and He will perform mighty wonders in your life.

May the Lord bless you richly! ✝️
